saturday for zachary

Not the Zac has not gotten any attention from anyone these past
two weeks, but we needed an outing just for him.
Tilden seemed like the perfect spot.
We crammed us all in the truck (not much room
in the back seat with two car seats, but Ann was a trooper.),
made a quick stop at the grocery store for a head of lettuce,
and we were off.

It's always fun to watch Zac feed animals.
He was really cute with the lettuce.
He just kept saying "lettuce."
And it was really cute watching him get a piece and
break it into even a smaller piece to feed to the animals.
I'm amazed he is not scared of the big tongues or biting mouths.

August 27th

Loving the open mouth.

Pushing Ann around.Ann was loving the pointer finger. Pointing at the bunnies.

We of course had to stop and get a ride on the train.
This time Zac was not afraid and crying every time
the train blew the whistle.

Waiting for the train...
and prof that Jane was on the outing too.
"All aboard!"
Sisters?
This is what I got when I tried and get a picture
of Zac. Ha.
It was a fun time.
We came home and all took naps.
And then ended the night off with a walk down to
Top This Yogurt.
A MUST when Ann comes to visit!

Home.

First bath.
Liked it once she was in the water...
not so much before or after.

Coming Home

One day when I have more then one finger to type
I'll write up my delivery and hospital stay...
but as to not get too far behind, I'm just
going to keep the blog moving.

On Monday, August 22 (my original due date)
we headed home from the hospital.

After 4 nights and 5 days
I was ready to breathe some fresh air!

All ready to head home.

To give kisses sometimes Zac will just push
his cheek into your face.
He does this A LOT with Jane.
We are really trying to work on doing it soft...
with very little success.

So much love.

Family of four. Crazy.

Ann came out to be with us for a week.
Bless her.

The adventure of TWO kids begins!!

Visitors

Thanks for visiting!!

Zac took a few trips to the ice machine
and decided it was pretty tasty.

Just add some of my apple juice, bed, and some TV,
and the hospital turned out to be not too bad of a place.

Jane Lynn Cooper
August 18, 2011
12:58 PM
7 lbs 12 oz
21 inches

A perfect little girl.
Both mom and baby are doing great!
We love her.

We are all in Love...

ESPECIALLY HER BROTHER!!

Zac was so cute meeting her.
He wanted to sit by anyone who had Jane.

So funny thou, if you asked him her name
he would say "six."
SO RANDOM.
But he can say Jane and
he knows you are talking about her when you say her name.
I think he just knows it's funny.

soakin' him up

We have been trying to soak up these last few weeks of
Zachary being our only child.

He has been such a good sport with all the cleaning, cooking,
shopping, and "talk" about the baby.
He is SO excited.
We will just have to see what it's like when she comes home. :)

Last night we got out all the baby things.
He was beyond happy.
Tuesday, August 16

We just might have been spoiling him a little more these days...

Top This Yogurt last night.
He did get more then the sample cup :)

And then today we went to a train museum near by.
Again, in heaven.
Wed, August 17th

The guy working there I think was amazed at how
long we stayed. We would have stayed longer,
but lunch was calling!

This morning as Lee was leaving out the door
for work, he found a frog.
I missed getting a picture of Zac holding it.
But it was really cute.

Other happenings:
Matching outfits.

Typical camera taking...

I was totally bummed because we had 2 year pictures
set up for last Saturday.
When we got there they were running an hour behind...
and it was going to be past nap time.
So we rescheduled for Monday.
On Sunday Zac was riding his bike a little too fast,
fell off, and bit his lip.
So now pictures have to be done in September...

Monday, August 15

We have been coloring more lately.
Lines for Zac.
While he tells me what "Cars" characters to draw.
Then he likes to then match the car up with the picture.

Books took the backseat for awhile,
but he has been loving them the past few weeks.
(He just insists that he sits on your lap...
definitely got harder as the belly got bigger!)

Bike Riding:
We are working on the peddles, but they
are a little far to reach right now.
And plus...he knows he can go faster without them!

Me trying to have him show off...
of course he doesn't do his tricks when you ask.

Zac would play hide-and-seek all
day if he could.
When we go on walks this bush is a favorite!
