New digs

Our next step towards being parents was getting into this. The little guy is lucky to get his own room. The fantastic setting for our new place is beyond description with the rolling hills and grass area surrounding our patios. You better just come visit to experience the majesty! (Allie gets all the credit for getting us into this place before the baby is born. 14 points wifie for the hard work, with 10 more coming your way when we are done unpacking!)

Star of the show.

This past weekend we were able to go to Kenzie's dance performance. After missing it last year, we were sure to save the date this time around. We were not disappointed. She did an awesome job. It has been a lot of fun having her show us all of her new moves. And truth-be-told I can't do half of them! I guess my belly is gettin in the way these days.

Are you kidding me?

I am humbled by many of my wife's talents. Today's realization hit a little deeper! She has been telling me that she can't wait to finally WATCH me run a race (4th of July). I finally let her know I will be running, but I need her help to determine if I could survive a 10k. I ran the Bah Humbug 5k and thought it was "ok"(basically, I didn't die). What I realized today was that she ran the 10k one year ago in the same time it takes me to run my usual 3.8 mile loop. How pathetic am I? I like to think I am doing pretty good for just starting (running) last Labor Day weekend, but I am reminded that she is 8 months pregnant and running that same 3.8 mile loop at "my" pace. I am always THRILLED when her heart rate monitor rings and I get to walk until her HR drops back down, which, in my mind, is never long enough!

Basically, my wife can kick my trash in just about everything, even at 8 months pregnant! Maybe someday I will be able to out-do her in something...maybe...

showered with love.

My friend, Mandi, put on a wonderful shower for "baby Cooper" last weekend. I don't think I can thank her enough. There was AMAZING food (special thanks to all those that helped out with that!), wonderful friends, and nothing but a good time.

Thanks, thanks, and thanks.

Seriously-Such GOOD food!

Sammi did not want to sit by me in fear
that she would be in every picture. Ha!

We received so many great gifts. This little guy got so spoiled with many fun and cute things!
Jessica made this darling "cake." It is our center piece on our table at home. It is too cute to take apart! I wish you could see it in person-there are so many fun things stuffed all around and in it! Thanks a bunch!

It really is so nice to have such great friends and family!
We just feel so loved.
Thanks.

*And a very special thanks to Whitney for taking some pictures for me. That was nice not to have to worry about that!

for my family.

Here I am at 32 weeks!
