binky throw

It's not very often that you see this kid with a binky now days.
Bed is about it.
And he knows it.
Most of the time he will just play in his bed
after naps just so he can just have his binky a little longer.
But, as soon as I pick him up he throws it back
in the bed and laughs.

Now he thinks it is a funny game to throw
it OUT of the bed.

Ha, I think someone was trying to tell me they wanted out...

I LOVE this video.
I love how he can have so much energy after a nap-it is amazing.
I love the "uh-oh."
And I love the single finger let go of the binky.
I love the scream.
I love the run.
Oh, and I just love the kid. :)

15 months

I cannot get enough of that tummy.

Nov 9th we went to Zac's 15 month check-up.

Height: 32 1/2in (84%)
Weight: 25lbs 11oz (67%)

The doctor told me he thinks he is two.
He just moves around like he is.
(running everywhere (and fast), walking backwards, on his tip-toes, climbing, etc.)
And he has the strength of one.
Seriously.
We both had to pin him down so he could
get everything checked.
As the doctor was talking to me Zac decided it was time
for us to go.
He was dragging my bag to the door and had
his shoes in his hands. And saying "bye, bye."
There were no worries that he was not wearing anything but
his diaper. (All you need is your shoes, right?)

Oh,
He had two shots.
Did good.
Didn't even need a binky.
But boy did he give that nurse a LOOK and some WORDS.
Ha. Love that kid.

iphone

Zac is really good at pressing the "home" button.
Flipping through pictures.
And watching U-tube videos
(mainly Elmo-his favorite!)

What a fun toy...huh dad?

Old McDonald had a farm...

These are a few of the songs Zachary can sing.

"Wheels on the bus" - sings "round and round."

"Twinkle Twinkle" - I find him singing this song ALL the time
to himself. He can almost sing
the entire thing in his own language.
He loves doing "twinkle stars" with his hands
while singing "twinkle, twinkle."

"Clean up, clean up, everybody, everywhere." - no joke, if you
just sing, "clean up, clean up,"
Zac will start singing and putting everything away.
(I'll have to get a video of it.) I love it.
He is so good at helping clean up.
(He just says, "clean up, clean up over and over.)

"Old McDonald" - he can do E-I-E-I-O
Surprisingly he doesn't want to say
the animal sounds when we sing.
FYI: To him every animal "moo's" or "baaa's."
The only one he has down for sure is a bird, "tweet, tweet."

These videos are really bad recordings.
But I just wanted to have to hear him saying E-I-E-I-O.

follow me

It has turned into fall weather here.
But we are still enjoying the outdoors.
At the park Zac is able to do so much more on his own.
He can get down curbs/stairs, go up stairs, climb, etc.
I can actually SIT at the park and WATCH him do his thing.
...But most of the time I join in on the fun.

Zac goes down the slide by himself.
Depending on the size of it,
I'll turn him around and he goes on his tummy.
Or if it is small, he can sit.
He thinks it is funny to climb on slides and try walking back up them.

Someone enjoys swinging!

...singing.

...happy.

This is our walk home.
We live on one side of the golf course.
I love the area we live.
Walks are always pretty.

Video #1
Took a little bit, but Zac will now turn around
and go down a curb.

Video #2
Thought this was funny.
Showing off for the camera.
(What you miss at the end is him hitting his
head over and over on the bar.)

Video #3
Doing it right.

book worm

Books are EVERYWHERE!
And we love it.

It's cute to find Zac in his room
just reading his books.
It's a nice break.
