if i'm lucky...

I might just get 15 minutes in the swing or the bouncy seat.

But boy could he be happy for HOURS if I (or Lee) physically swing or bounce him.
We will just have to keep pressing our luck.

3 weeks

I thought I would give a quick update on little Zachary.

At two weeks he was 21 1/4 inches and 9 lbs
Now at three weeks he is 22 inches and 9lbs 5oz.

No need to worry that this little boy is not getting enough to eat! He is growing fast. Yesterday he was lucky enough to have the mittens off for the entire day! Only a few minor scratches on the face and some eye poking happened...we are trying to work on it.

Here are some pictures from yesterday.
Three weeks old.

A Wednesday's Wish...

On days when I'm not interested in working, I peek at "other" places I would rather be. Today, I'm wishing I were....

...right about there!
How about a quick thought for where you would like to be?

Let it be known that on Wednesday August 26th at 1:43, I would rather be sitting outside the Westin Maui with my Allie.

Home

Look at who is happy to be home...

Visitors!!
We loved having Grandma Passey and Aunt Ann come visit.

Aunt Kenzie and Katie

Nap time!
Zac just loves being on his side or stomach to sleep.
And LOVES his hands. They are ALWAYS by his face.
He gets SO SO mad if you wrap him up without his hands out.
The mittens are a for sure must!

Happy 27th Birthday Dad!
Just a week late, but we still managed to get a "party" in.
Thanks Ann for your help!
I think Zac was tired from all the perpetration for the big event, so he was sleeping.
We ate an extra piece of cake for him!

Cute dad and son!

So tired Mom!

We sure love this little guy.
Thanks for all the help from everyone and your much needed prayers.
We love you lots!!

Since we don't go home until tomorrow...

We had our good friend Mandi and Ben take care of keeping things updated (click here)! Mandi, thanks for the great pictures and the post (totally kidding about asking friends to update our blog for us!).

Allie is feeling stronger every day. We just took a walk around the Labor & Delivery wing. It was refreshing! Thank you for all your love and prayers.

What's in a name?

Our little baby might be a little confused when he referred to as:

Frank by Ann
Patrick by Claire
Henry by Grandma Passey
Jacob by Kenzie
Kurt by Lee's boss (Kurt).
Timothy by Jessica
Cooper Cooper by Jenna

Hopefully soon there might be a common name for him.
Until then...

overdue

40 weeks. plus one day. still waiting.

Salsa

Ever since Lee had some of my mom's homemade salsa he has been wanting me to make some. Whenever we go to Utah he can't wait to open up a jar and chips. He even got some amazingly from Santa in his stocking last year!

So, having this last week off I decided I would finally attempt it. Mind you I have never really made it before and I have definitely not canned on my own before! But I did it! And surprisingly it turned out.

Let's just say I have one little spoiled boy. And it is not even his birthday until the 6th!
