meeeee.

We have been working on "please" for a long time.
Zac will finally say it.
But it comes out as, "meee."
Very ironic.

He got a little frustrated at
the end because I was not turning on the water-
after he already told me please!

playing inside.

It has finally warmed up!
We have gone to the park everyday so far this week.
(Even twice some days.)
The past month it has been cold (for here).
A few times while driving the dashboard
has started beeping...
I guess when the temperature drops
below 40 a snowflake appears.
Apparently I needed to watch out for ice or snow. :)

Zac started to get creative on things to do...
so one day he emptied the toy box and climbed in.
It was funny because he got in, but couldn't get out!

Cars, cars, cars.
We do A LOT of cars.
Traffic jams happen often.

And watching his motorized train go under the couch is a favorite.
...or finding anything under the couch is fun!

Let's just say we are happy the rain has stopped.
And that we can get out more!
Yay for nice weather!

goose egg

Zachary hits his head All.The.Time!
Many times on purpose.
And other times not.

See family...
Don't feel bad.
(While in Utah he got a matching one on
the other side of his forehead.)

These things happen even with mom around.

Lucky for us he doesn't cry very much about getting hurt.
But I do wish he would stop tripping, running into things,
or smacking his head into the wall.
I guess I would be asking him to actually "sit still."
So, not going to happen. :)

Christmas Pictures 2010

Christmas was fast appropriating, and so was
our need for a family photo.

The rain everyday was not helping (including weekends).
The fact that when Lee left for work and when he got home
it was pitch black out, really did not help!

So we decided to meet during lunch one sunny morning
(our attemptthe night before did not work out)
and quickly see if we could get at least
ONE picture that might be ok.
We were crossing our fingers Zac would not fall apart needing a nap.

Lee's mom was nice to help out.
We actually had a few to choose from.
So we were happy.

This was our picture and letter sent out to everyone.
(Sorry if you got missed!)

Merry Christmas!

Lee has kept busy with multiple projects by spending about half his week working on a new elementary school in the city next to us and the other half working on a new high school about an hour away. He has helped about 5 guys get their eagle this year in scouts and has just been called as a counselor in the Elder’s Quorum at church. He also loves spending as much time as possible with Allie & Zac!

Allie is enjoying the duties of a full time mom. Zachary has definitely kept her super busy. Her jogging stroller was a best friend this year, making it possible for her to get a run in most days. In church she has been in Primary with the nine year olds. She has been having fun this year running a few races and actually getting up on the wakeboard for the first time ever!

Zachary is “Mr. Nonstop” since he started walking at 10 months. He is always running, jumping, or dancing. He is obsessed with anything that has wheels. If he could he would spend all of his time outdoors. He can be seen at the park or pool almost every day. He is such a cutie and sure gets a lot of comments on his big blue eyes and his tan skin.

Keep up with us (or Zac) on the blog!

And just because I think it is fun to see
peoples family pictures...I'll include some of the others
we were picking from.

san francisco in december

On the 23rd we stayed down town in SF.
We had fun going out to eat.
Walking the streets.
And in the morning doing some Christmas shopping.

Our hotel (in the background) right on Union Square.

China town.

The ice-skating rink is so tiny.
It's funny to watch people skate because
they have to go so slow!

It was fun to have Grandpa and Grandma Cooper come
from Canadafor Christmas this year!
It was hard to get a picture of us all.
(I have no idea where Shelly and Chris were.)

Other Fun in Utah.

We unfortunately didn't take pictures of everything we did
or everyone we saw, but here are some of the
fun things that we did capture.

Tree House Museum
This was the perfect place for Zachary.
He could run around the entire place and we did not have
to worry about what he would touch.
He did not stop the entire time we were there!!

I loved watching John 6'5" "playing on the toys."

Video #1
Little Batman. Did not stop running!

Video #2
I don't know how he even noticed the tractor
with all the things on the map!

FLAG!

Funny faces with Maren.

We didn't make it to Temple Square, but
we hit up the lights in Layton.
It was fun to watch Zac run around saying "wow."

Ryan and Diana moved this summer from CA to UT.
It was fun to meet the twins,
and see how much Ella has grown.

Zac was so cute with Ella.
He kept wanting to give her hugs and follow her around.

Video: Sharing.

We brushed all the snow of the slide
and brought it inside.
This was one of the first days.
By the end he went up the ladder a few times by himself.

It was a fun trip.
I can't believe Christmas is over and that 2011 is here!

FINALLY!!!

We got to meet Carter!!
He was born just 2 1/2 weeks after Zac.
He is adorable. And has the cutest facial expressions.
I think Zac might have scared him a few times with
how wild he can get-
especially while playing with cars. :)
Jenna is out in NJ and we are in CA, so it's hard to meet up.
It took us almost a year and a half to be out in UT at the same time!
WAY too long!
We really do need to be neighbors!
I have sure missed my best friend.

Surprisingly Zac was huggy on the trip.
Carter was all about the gold fish!

They were so cute just to watch.

And we also were lucky enough to meet little Lily.
Only 6 weeks old.
Perfect little baby. And so so cute!

It was sure fun to see you Tyrel, Jenna, Carter,
Ann Marie, and Lily.
We were sad we couldn't meet up with all the BYU teammates!
Better luck next time!!

Chirstmas morning in Cali

We had a wonderful Christmas.
We started out the morning by talking to "Sister Cooper"
(Katie, Lee's younger sister, serving a mission in Washington).
Then we opened gifts.
Everyone could not have been happier with what they got.

This first picture pretty much sums up the morning for Zac.
Just sitting in the middle of the room
playing with his new cars.
IN HEAVEN!

Zac had never really opened up a gift before,
so he thought all the boxes were to climb on.

It was funny, he grabbed Dad Cooper's first gift and was
running around the room with it.

He started to get the hang of it!

It was super fun to watch Zac with his new toys.
Christmas really is a lot of fun with a little one!

After gifts we ate a yummy breakfast.
Then it was back to our place for a nap.
And then we hopped on a plane for Utah...
