Jane 9 months

Jane 9 months!

5-18-2012
Height: 29 1/2" (96%)
Weight: 22lb 11oz (95%)
Head: 18 1/3" (97%)
Basically she is the average size of a 15 month old.
But she is also almost as mobile as one too.

-Right after turning 8 months she learned how to stand up on furniture. The problem was she didn't know how to get down! We had a rough week of her standing up all the time in her crib. I would go in and lay her down and she would pop right back up. I had to hold her down to get her to sleep.
-Cursing along furniture.
-So messy when you feed her any food. She wants the spoon at all times, so you have to have two. She always ends up wiping her eyes, ears or hair at some point. Making a huge mess of everything!
-Sleeps 8:30pm-6:15am. Naps 8:30-10:30 and 2-4. (Give or take)
-Can climb up the stairs supper fast! She knows she is not supposed to, so when you run over to get her off she has a turbo speed (just like her brother has) that she gets up a few more stairs.
-Zac's cars are the toy sought after. Drama for the both of them.
-Babbles all the time. She will hold the echo microphone and talk into it. It is really cute. I need a video.
-Loves to clap. And playing "how big is Jane?" and she will put her arms up "so big."
-Did I say busy?! This girl is everywhere into everything!!!!!!!
-Four teeth. Middle two on bottom and top. We have feeling she is going to end up with my front teeth which had a big gap until braces.
-We think there might be some red to her hair. In the sun it's a strawberry blond.
-12-18 month clothes.
-Wants down all the time! Outside it is way hard because the hard ground and the fact that everything goes in her mouth (wood chips at the park are a favorite).
-Bites everything.
-Don't think about eating in front of her. You will have to share.
-Bath time is still a favorite. The tub was one of the first things I saw her stand up for. It's getting tricky because she now wants to stand up IN the tub.
-Because she crawls around so much she is wearing leggings even when it's hot. Her little knees are so sore looking at the end of the day if she wears shorts or dress.
-Her brother still has a hard time sharing baby toys. She puts up with a lot from him.
-So funny. She makes us a laugh lots. And her laugh makes us keep laughing.
-SUCH a mommy's girl. Drives me crazy. But I'm kind of obsessed with her too. She is just so squishy and lovable. I don't blame her. I have to pretty much keep an eye on her at all times. Zac now picks her up if she is getting into his toys. Or he hugs too hard. Or he does something like take her toy. Or she is eating things she shouldn't. Or going for things she shouldn't.
-She gets really excited when I use the microwave. She likes to feel the air coming out.
-Had her toes painted for the first time this month.
-Likes to empty things.
-Say's "mmmmmm" when she eats something she likes.
-Is so fun. But so busy. She (and her brother) make us very tired. :)

Trust me, after looking at these pictures you will just want to squeeze her.
I know I do!

Jane Walking

This video is so typical of both kids.
Zac hears Jane talking from all the way upstairs and has to come check it out.
And then he has to get right in the way of where she is going and take her toys.
I was a little surprised he didn't push her away.
Then there is Jane who has to go in for the bite.
And do a little squeal.

Anyways I was really just trying to show how Jane is moving along furniture.
She is getting so good at going back and forth. She has not figured out corners yet...
ask me tomorrow and she will probably have learned it. :)
