All different days.

...I think someone needs to pay better
attention to where they are walking.

As soon as I started taking pictures,

Zac started pulling these faces.

He thought it was so funny to close his eyes.

He really wanted the keyboard.
Reaching over his other toy!!

We have been working on a few words with Zac.
He has "ball" down. And can find a ball if we ask for one.
He says"ba" for ball.
It is really cute when he sees a ball and starts running
towards it saying ba, ba, ba.

He has been so cute recently showing so much
personality. He makes us laugh.

(And I hope you all noticed how incredibly tan his
hands and feet are!! Seriously. I put sunblock on him!
Lucky boy!)

cabin weekend

This past weekend we went to the cabin for a quick get-a-way.

It was a HOT weekend and perfect for a little fun in the sun.

We went up on Friday.
As we were heading down to the local lake to swim
Zac wanted to jump in the boat and
play with the steering wheel.

Zac enjoyed getting in the water and playing with the sand.
The water was perfect for swimming,
so the rest of us swam out to the middle of the lake.

Saturday we headed to the "real lake" for some fun.
We had a blast in the 110+ weather.
And enjoyed the 82 degree water.
Zac was really good.
And enjoyed wearing his cool shades.
(We were happy because it helped keep his hat on!)

We had fun swimming, wake skating, wake boarding, skiing,
knee boarding, and being together!

I was finally able to get up on the wake board!
I didn't know if it was possible with my back.
But I did it! And stayed up for a while.

BUT I still had to get Kenzie out on the knee board with me!

We can't wait to do it again...
next time with even more family!

walk, walk, walk

All day long we walk.

No more crawling for this big boy!

Zachary is always walking.
Sometimes I crawl around the house
trying to get him to crawl after me...
but when I look behind, he is walking.
It always shocks me if I see him crawl.
So funny how things change.

But it is really cute to see him walking.
He walks around every store we go to.
The wood chips at the park are no problem for him.
He can even walk on the grass!
Unfortunately loves the sidewalk the best.

It has been nice to not hold his hand all the time.
And it's even nicer that he has learned how to
get up on his own!

I also love that he will just walk in circles
or back and forth from something forever.
Meaning: there is less entertaining being done by me!

Now if only he would WATCH were he was going.
He seems to think he can plow through anything...
probably because he does!

So sorry this video is sideways...I flipped it,
but then it wouldn't load.

Leafs are one of our favorites right now.
Zac has to go pick them up
when they blow past.

I love that he actually came on the grass.

randoms of the trip

While in Utah we went to my parents
ward party at Farmington pool.

John working on his "Passey Pizza" creations.
He makes homemade pizza for the family every week!
We were glad we got to taste the deliciousness.

We made a quick stop in Provo on Monday.
We didn't have too much time, but we got to see some family & friends.
We stopped by one of my best friends, Jenna, parents house.
Zac got to play with their cats.

We were lucky to catch Carolyn there.
She had ran a race earlier that morning.
It was fun to see her again.

We also saw Ann Marie and Keros, Lee's sister Katie,
and met up with my brother Will and his wife Sara for
some yummy ice-cream!
We wished we would have had more time to see all
the people there. So sorry if we missed you!!

At home Zac enjoyed the stairs the most.
He can crawl up them, but prefers if you help him WALK
up them. He also has a hard time with turning AROUND
to go down. Again, he wants to WALK down.

He also loved the piano.
It was cute to see his tiny fingers playing the keys.

He loved all the food on the trip.
(And so did we!)

I was fun to have different toys to play with.
Zac loves anything with wheels,
so this walker was a hit.

This is a video with Cait's pig that every little kid at
the house LOVED.

our 4th

Start of the day: Kaysville 5K.
I ran my first race in almost two years!
I ended up with 19:36 and was happy.
It was a lot of fun to have some of my family
members join in on the fun.

High School friends: Jaci, Lisa, and Corrine

Next up: The Kaysville parade!

It was a beautiful day for a parade.
Zac was really good for it.
It was cute when he started clapping for the veterans
along with everyone else.
I think his favorite part was walking around and playing with the
construction cones that we were by.
It was fun to see my brother John in the band.
We also enjoyed watching the water flight section of the parade.
And only got a little wet...thankfully.

Later the night: Family BBQ

Yum, Yum.
Will and Sara made yummy ribs.
And we all enjoyed good food and
being with great people.

Even later that night: Yogurt treat!
4th of July style. :)

Night, Night time: Kaysville Fireworks.
