November!

Blog posts have a monthly theme as of lately.
I guess that is a sign of life being busy and the time moving quickly.
Here is a look into our November...

We woke up one morning to no power.
It gave us "wake up call" on how unprepared we are with candles
and batteries in flashlights.
We have food storage, but a source of  light is always a good thing.
This was us eating breakfast.

While Z was at preschool we made the last trip to the foot doctor to find
out that my MRI came out clean and no stress fracture. Yay!
(fyi: that is our toy.)

Jane LOVES to look at pictures on the phone.
Everyone is "baby."
I love her talking.

Always a book in hand.

We ran into SF for some new glasses for Lee.
The kids LOVED the cable cars.
It was a super fun trip.
We ate dinner there and walked around.

Jane is so busy. This was us during Sunday School.
She was walking the lines. It was pretty cute.

It's nice to be able to get out the single jogger while Z is in school.
We both got a little tired this day.

Pretzels anyone?

After Z's 3 year check up we went to our old stomping grounds.
(Black hawk plaza.)

Two babies.

Can you guess what Santa is bringing Jane?

Another outing while Z was in school.
I guess if Z isn't there to keep her awake, she crashes.
I always feel a little bad waking her to go into the store.

BABY, BABY, BABY.
Jane started feeding her milk to her baby doll.

Morning run. So pretty.

November field trip.
Nature walk.

We made our own "double stroller" for the walk back to the car.

Lowes and Home Depot are a favorite stores
(good thing bc we go often!).
They love all the Christmas things.

Love her.
We love watching her jump and dance.
Zac is also pretty good. :)

"Take a picture."

All Things Halloween!

Basically this is a post with the rest of the Halloween fun that we did in October.

Zac's firefighter costume was a good find.We got it a little big that way he could play with it all year long. He was super cute wearing his hat backwards (he wore it like a baseball cap) and I love that the pants are overalls. Jane was his little dalmatian puppy. It was perfect seeing how she just follows him around.

The day after Halloween I wanted to get a cute picture of Z in his suit.
He grabbed his hat. This is the best one I could get. Ha.

Decorating sugar cookies at Gma's house.
He would put the candy corn on as eyes like humans have.
It was super cute.

The pumpkin patch as a family.

Our neighbors have two girls the same ages as Z and J.
We went to a Halloween birthday party at their house.

Jane with the birthday girl.
They are only two months apart.

Jane loved their dog...Zac was not as sure.

Zac sitting next to our neighbor.
His decorated pumpkin was a big hit all month.

Carving pumpkins.
The kids were not about to touch the insides. We couldn't even get them to try.
Zachary did want to help carve, so I let him do a little.
Zac told us what he wanted done for both pumpkins (sure made it easy on us).

Halloween day.

Our friends the George's came over and went out trick-or-treating with us.

It was cute to watch Zac and Lucas run up to the door together and say "trick-or-treat" and "thank you." They did not want to do any house alone. Jane on the other hand really didn't want to do anything. She did a few doors and was done. In the middle of it she sat down and starting going through her bucket.

We walked over to a street in our neighborhood that go all out! They block off the street so cars can't go down. All the homes are decorated and so many people are out. I didn't get a picture of it that night, but the next day we went on a walk to get a picture of the house with the pirate ship. It was amazing! You can see it took up the entire front yard and was as big as the house! There was a moat around it, cannons, things moving, music, and cool lights. It was a little too much for Z that he didn't trick-or-treat in it, but he didn't mind it from a distance.
