Hawaii

We started off the summer with a Cooper family trip to Maui. The trip had been planned for a year, so we were excited to finally be able to go! We were not sure how a vacation was going to go with having three kids, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a "vacation" it actually was! We have such wonderful family members who just love our kids. And having cousins there is super nice! We even left all three to go on a date and another time for a much needed shave ice run! And with all the playing all day long-everyone slept great!

The kids were in heaven. And who wouldn't be?! We basically hit up a few beaches we had gone to before, but also went to some new ones. I was able to finally see some turtles while snorkeling (I actually saw quite a few)! I ran along the water every morning. And we enjoyed so much great time with family. I was surprised that the kids liked the ocean so much. We only went to the big pool once!! We went to the kid pirate pool a few times, but our kids did not really like any of the sprayers. They just liked riding the waves in the ocean. Which is what we paid for, so we were happy they wanted to be at the beach and ocean! They did need to stop by the hot tub at the end of the day (a new found favorite). And Zachary would tell you that one of his favorite things was the elevators. He put himself in charge of making sure the door stayed open for everyone and pushing the floor buttons.

Family vacations are just so fun. I love to see everything from our kids perception. And to enjoy things for the first or multiple times. They just loved everything that we did. Everything was just so rewarding with happy kids. It was such a fun trip and we can't wait to go back...maybe with out kids next time. ;)

We had not even taken off and Jane needed her chips from her lunch.

The night we got there and Jane was COVERED with sand...she was already loving it!

Father's Day. Lee is such a good husband and dad! How cute is the lei that Jane's nursery class made?

Blowhole fun! (Sunday tradition.)

Just about to start my run.

While I ran Lee would take the kids on walks around the resort.
They loved the coy fish and picking up pieces of the palm trees.
The actually were pretty heavy!

Jane getting her sunblock on "all by myself!"

It just so happened that Jane (Brooklyn) and Evie got the same swimming suit (yay for Target!).
The girls were super cute. Cousins are so much fun!
We brought along a pop-up shade. Best. Thing. Ever. Brooke was able to sleep wherever we went. And all of us could enjoy some shade too!

Uncle Taylor helping Jane get buried. :)

Zachary was so proud. He just loves sand!

The kids discovered hot tubs this trip. And LOVED them!
Pizza watching the sunset!

Fun date night. Eating with our feet in the sand, live music, and the sunset!

While we were on a date Grandma put together a scavenger hunt. The kids even had to dig out the treasure from the "X" on the beach. They loved it!

Kiddy pool.

We had some family pictures done while we were there. If you can't guess it was pretty windy. But what can you do?

Watching surf lessons that Katie, Kenzie, Hal and Taylor took.

Not going to lie. I kind of just want to go back for more shave ice. :)
...oh and the beach, sun, and relaxing!
Yes, we did take a picture of the ice machine. :)

Some days we snuck in a nap. But not very often!

Last night. We were sad to say goodbye.

Heading home.

What an incredible vacation. Glad it wasn't too bad with 3 kids. Sometimes that can get so stressful. Looks gorgeous there.
