Back East Trip: Jensens house

When we pulled up to their house the first thing the kids noticed was the swing in the front. I think Lee spent a good amount of time pushing Z in it for our visit.

After enjoying some NJ pizza for dinner we did a fire in the backyard. They have such a wonderful setting in their backyard with the lined trees around back and side. It was easy for the boys to help collect sticks. :) We had totally worn out the boys with no nap, so sat there in dazed looks most of the time. It was pretty cute/funny. We enjoyed some smores and being together. 

The reason why they got no nap was...

 THE RED MUSTANG!

Z was in heaven! Carter was an awesome sport with letting Z have turns driving and

especially for how many times Z would stop to have them check the engine and fill up with gas!

When Jane woke up from her nap she spent a lot of time chasing them around trying to get a ride. We finally kicked Z out and she was beyond thrilled about getting a turn. Z was not very happy about it and HAD to ride on the back. Little stinker.

They rode it so much that the battery died, so other bikes and toys were brought out. We even made a trip around the block to the fire station.

We had so much fun getting our families together. The hardest part (like any trip) is getting the kids to GO.TO.SLEEP. It was almost comical how everyone would just break down the second we said it was time to go to sleep. So much crying and saying they were not tired. They just wanted to play, play, play. And boy did they, I don't know how they just didn't crash!

They own almost every character from the movie Cars. Z was loving it!

I'm just dying over these last two pictures. 

Jane somehow ended up with two bowls of ice-cream. Hmmmm.

And Bennett is left to just eat the leftovers on the table.
